About the event

Stitches Comedy Gong Show

There truly is no show around very this way! Gong Show is generally viewed as the most brutal open mic night and in light of current circumstances. On the last Monday of every month we invite new funnies or old acts to our stage and challenge them to stay there for 5 minutes. Sounds simple, isn't that so?

Trust us when we say it's harder than you'd might suspect. Our valiant challengers will be facing a threatening group with 3 individuals haphazardly allocated as judges. These strong appointed authorities use the feared paddle and when every one of the paddle are raised, the comic is gonged off the stage… .. ordinarily with murmurs of help from the crowd, yet here and there to a melody of boos assuming the remainder of the crowd disagree with the appointed authorities!

A few funnies will make you giggle, some will make you murmur, some will make you figure they might require certifiable assistance. For each situation… the crowd is best and they conclude who gets by So come and shape the fate of parody… by running a couple of expectations, and breaking a couple of dreams.

Act: Elizabeth Redmond / Ellen O Rielly / Edmund Carlton / Kevin O Donohoe / Jack Dolan / James cadden / Shinanne higgins / Rob Moriarty / Gary Lynch / Ian Burke

(Host) By

Craig Moran is Irish Comedian that started doing stand up late in life. He was the funny kid in a family of seven, he was the class clown in school and was always the funny friend in in his cirle. All of this prepared him to do stand up comedy when he finally quit his bar management job and persued his dreams of being a comedian.  Craig is a regular in all the major comedy clubs in Ireland, gigging with some of the best acts the country. On stage he is ridiculous, silly and has a lot of energy when he tells stories or he gets into a bit. He also hosts weekly Quiz and Bingo events in the city centre.
